GOD Has Good News For You!

You Can LIVE FOREVER! You Can Have EVERLASTING LIFE!

The word ‘Gospel’ means ‘Good News’. “..the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth;..” (Romans 1:16). “..repent ye, and believe the gospel” (Mark 1:15). INTRODUCTION: --God sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, into this world to suffer, shed His blood and die for our sins. Jesus willingly became the sacrifice to God for our sins. --“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). --Jesus came to earth in the flesh just like we have, except without sin. He was born of a virgin by the power of the Holy Spirit. He was still fully God (the Son) and He became fully man. Jesus is the unique and perfect God-man. --“But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,” (Galatians 4:4). --Jesus lived a life that was sinless. “..and in him is no sin” (I John 3:5).
--The Good News (Gospel) of Jesus Christ is, “..that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: and that he was seen…” (I Corinthians 15:3-5). --Because of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, sinners such as you and I, can be saved and be given everlasting life. I. JESUS DIED FOR YOU. -“…he by the grace of God should taste death for every man” (Hebrews 2:9). --“And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for our’s only, but also for the sins of the whole world” (I John 2:2). --Jesus shed His precious blood for you. You can be redeemed “.. with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:” (I Peter 1:19). --“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). II. JESUS WAS BURIED --“Then took they the body of Jesus, and wound it in linen clothes with the spices, as the manner of the Jews is to bury. Now in the place where He was crucified there was a garden; and in the garden a new sepulchre, wherein was never man yet laid. There laid they Jesus..” (John 19:40-42). III. JESUS ROSE AGAIN THE THIRD DAY --“Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again” (Luke 24:7). --“.. to day is the third day since these things were done. … And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit. And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts? Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have. And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and his feet”(Luke 24:21, 36-40). --“..whom they slew and hanged on a tree: him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly; Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead” (Acts 10:39-41). --Jesus stated, “I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death” (Revelation 1:18). --Jesus said, “..I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?” (John 11:25, 26). WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAVED ? --Eternal life is a gift from the Lord that must be accepted by a person in order for that person to be saved and have everlasting life. It must be accepted in the manner that the Lord instructs us in His Word. I. Realize and understand that you are guilty of sin against God. God states that we all are sinners. “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” (Romans 3:23). "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:" (Romans 3:10). II. Repent toward God. (Turn; have a change of mind and heart concerning sin and God). Turn from sin and unbelief and turn to righteousness and God. Jesus said, “I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish” (Luke 13:3). "Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ" (Acts 20:21). III. Trust in, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. By faith believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ. “..Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved,..” (Acts 16:31). In your heart you must have, “..repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ” (Acts 20:21). “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved” (Romans 10:9). IV. Pray and ask the Lord to forgive you of your sins and to save you. “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Romans 10:13). --Jesus is the only way to God and heaven. “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6). --Receive Jesus today as your personal Saviour and God, by His grace, will give you His gift of everlasting, eternal life.
"What If I Neglect God's Salvation and Die Lost?"
--"And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments..."(Luke 16:23) (This was immediately after this
lost man died.)
--"And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." (Revelation
20:15).

God gives the invitation to ALL to come to Him by repenting and trusting in His Son, Jesus Christ.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in
him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16).
TELL the truth, you are guilty, you have sinned against God.
TURN To God (With your heart, turn to God, turn from the desire to continue in sin and unbelief;
change your mind and heart; turn to the Lord with faith, with sorrow for your sins and unbelief)
TRUST In Jesus Christ (With your heart; Trusting Him with your eternal soul; Wanting and willing
to receive Him as your own personal Savior.)
TALK To God (From your heart in prayer; in your own words; expressing your sorrow for sins, and
desire for forgiveness, and asking the Lord to have mercy upon you, to forgive you and
      to save you.)
Do This NOW, while you have the time and the opportunity.
"...Behold, now is the accepted time; behold now >i>is the day of salvation" (II Corinthians 6:2).
