received, how that Christ died for our sins according

rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:”
(I Corinthians 15:3-5).
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is
the power of God unto salvation to every one that
believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek”
(Romans 1:16).
Jesus said, “I am He that liveth, and was dead; and,
behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the
keys of hell and of death” (Revelation 1:18).
-Because of the truth of who Jesus is and what He has done,
sinners can be justified, saved, given eternal life by the
Lord. Jesus, “Who was delivered for our offences,
and was raised again for our justification. Therefore

charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until

men: And they shall kill him, and the third day he
shall be raised again. And they were exceeding sorry”

“Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man
shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the
scribes, and they shall condemn him to death, And
shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to
scourge, and to crucify him: and the third day
he shall rise again” (Matthew 20:18, 19).

them that they should tell no man what things they had
seen, till the Son of man were risen from the dead”

man shall be delivered unto the chief priests, and unto
the scribes; and they shall condemn him to death, and
shall deliver him to the Gentiles: And they shall mock
him, and shall scourge him, and shall spit upon him,
and shall kill him: and the third day he shall rise again”

I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and to morrow,
and the third day I shall be perfected” (Luke 13:32).

third day he shall rise again” (Luke 18:32, 33).
“Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the
hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day

JESUS’ RESURRECTION WAS PROCLAIMED
AFTER HE AROSE FROM THE DEAD
“And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it
behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the
third day:” (Luke 24:46).
“When therefore he was risen from the dead, his
disciples remembered that he had said this unto them;
and they believed the scripture, and the word which
Jesus had said” (John 2:22).
“This is now the third time that Jesus shewed himself to
his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead”
(John 21:14).
“To whom also he shewed himself alive after his
passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them
forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the
kingdom of God:” (Acts 1:3).
“Beginning from the baptism of John, unto that same day
that he was taken up from us, must one be ordained to
be a witness with us of his resurrection” (Acts 1:22).
“Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of
death: because it was not possible that he should be
holden of it” (Acts 2:24).
“This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are
witnesses” (Acts 2:32).
“And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from
the dead; whereof we are witnesses” (Acts 3:15).
“Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus,
sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you
from his iniquities” (Acts 3:26).

that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye
crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him
doth this man stand here before you whole” (Acts 4:10).
“And with great power gave the apostles witness of the
resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was
upon them all” (Acts 4:33).
“The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew
and hanged on a tree. Him hath God exalted with his
right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give
repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins”
(Acts 5:30, 31).
“And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in
the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew
and hanged on a tree: Him God raised up the third day,
and shewed him openly; Not to all the people, but unto
witnesses chosen before of God, even to us, who did
eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead”
(Acts 10:39-41).
“But God raised him from the dead:” (Acts 13:30).

“Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will
judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he
hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto
all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead”
(Acts 17:31).
“Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto
this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying
none other things than those which the prophets and
Moses did say should come: That Christ should suffer,
and that he should be the first that should rise from the
dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the
Gentiles” (Acts 26:22, 23).
“And declared to be the Son of God with power,
according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection
from the dead:” (Romans 1:4).
“But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we
believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the
dead; Who was delivered for our offences, and was
raised again for our justification” (Romans 4:24, 25).
“Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death:
that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the
glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in
newness of life. For if we have been planted together
in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the
likeness of his resurrection:” (Romans 6:4, 5).

Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath
raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For

that he might be Lord both of the dead and living”
(Romans 14:9).

raise up us by his own power” (I Corinthians 6:14).
“For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also
received, how that Christ died for our sins according to
the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he
rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

heavenly places,” (Ephesians 1:20).

conformable unto his death;” (Philippians 3:10).

look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall
change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto
his glorious body, according to the working whereby he
is able even to subdue all things unto himself”
(Philippians 3:20, 21). [Jesus’ resurrection body is a
glorious body.]

with him through the faith of the operation of God, who

from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the
wrath to come” (I Thessalonians 1:10).

him” (I Thessalonians 4:14).

raised from the dead according to my gospel:”
