TRUST

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding” (Proverbs 3:5).

Trust in the One that died for your sins, that made you whole.
   Trust in the Jesus that can save your soul.

Trust in Him all your days, from your youth to when you are old.
   For He is the only way to eternal life, in the scriptures we are told.

Trust in the gospel, and believe that it is true,
   that Jesus will save you and show you what to do.

Trust not in man to lead your way, but only Jesus,
   seek Him to guide you each day.

Trust in Jesus, that He will give you the words to say,
   to tell someone the gospel that they might be saved.

Pray for guidance for Him to lead the way to the lost,
   of which we must always seek,
   and He will give you the words to speak.

Fear not man that can take your fleshly life,
   but God the Father, the Son Jesus Christ.

For Jesus has the keys to heaven and hell,
   the members of His church, the gospel we must tell.

Trust not in the cross, but in Jesus that was a sacrifice for your sins.
   Trust in God’s Word that through your life, your faith does not bend.
